The Digital Marketing 1.5 lakh jobs by 2016: experts

NEW DELHI: Around 1.5 lakh jobs will be created in the area of digital marketing in a few years, as more companies use social media platforms and the Internet, to support the company, say HR experts.

India is becoming a center of digital outsourcing for various services, including online advertising, social media and website design, said.

"With businesses and consumers focus their attention on the digital medium, it is 1.5 billion rupees of jobs for 2016 are available," said Chairman of the Manipal Global Education Services Executive V Sivaramakrishnan.

Going by estimates that about 25,000 new jobs this year, probably in the digital marketing space.

Among the sectors, electronic commerce is still a great recruiter digital marketing professionals.
